Released in April 2020, the Fujifilm X-T4 is a mirrorless camera featuring a 26MP BSI CMOS sensor, a 6.5EV image stabilization, and a fully articulated touchscreen. There are 425 focus points available in single mode AF, or 117 points in a 13 x 9 grid for a wider AF. It weighs 526 g, battery included.
The camera can shoot up to 15 fps through its mechanical shutter. Videos can be shot in 1080 at up to 240 fps, or in 4K at up to 60fps. The files are recorded on UHS-II SD cards. The camera has two slots that can be used separately, or can record simultaneously for an instant backup. It uses the proprietary NP-W235 battery, lasting 500 frames per charge. The X-T4 can be charged through a USB-C cable that can be used to access the files on the SD cards as well.
So what do the critics think of the Fujifilm X-T4?
Overall most reviews say that the Fujifilm X-T4 is a very capable camera. The BSI CMOS sensor is doing a great job in low light conditions, coupled with the image stabilization. The pictures are sharp in JPG and the RAW gives plenty of room to work with. The video quality is great, especially in 4K. The autofocus seems to be weak compared to concurrent models though. The X-T4 is also quite expensive for an APS-C format mirrorless camera.
