Released in the beginning of 2018, the Canon T7i features a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor which uses Canon’s Dual Pixel AF system, a good autofocus in live view or video mode, a 3-inch fully articulated touch screen and a maximum ISO sensibility of ISO 51 200.
The Canon T7i burst rates reaches 6 frames per second and is able to process 14x faster than its predecessor. In video mode, it’s possible to shoot in 1080p and reaches 60 frames per second. Canon T7i design is minimalist with a weight of about 1.01kg including memory card and battery. Its main innovation is its well guide menu and new generation processor Digic 7.

Overall most reviews say that the Canon EOS Rebel T7i is a non-expensive camera made for beginners who don’t want too many specific control buttons.
The T7i shares a lot with the more expensive Canon 77D but the Canon EOS T7i add an easy-to-use user interface with a guided function. Its main assets are the Canon’s Dual Pixel AF technology added to high sensitivity ISO. The Canon T7i also has a good reactivity in live view mode and offers good image quality in many situations.
However, it’s not a great choice if you plan to use it mainly for video only in full HD and without 4k. It’s not the best for its Wi-Fi system. It’s quite complicated to connect to it a smartphone, for example.
